Xdrive Media Player |
The Xdrive Media Player allows you to play MP3 files you have uploaded to your Xdrive account without having to download the files each time you wish to play them. You can easily access and manage your music files by clicking the Music tab.
Select the files you wish to play by selecting the check box next to the song titles in the Display Area.
Once you have selected the desired files, click the Play button on the Music toolbar.
Note: you can also open the Xdrive Media Player from the Xdrive tab by clicking and holding the Open button on the Action bar and selecting Music Player from the menu that displays.
The media
player opens.
If you do not have the newest version of the Flash plug-in for your
browser you can get it from straight from the Macromedia
Website.
The controls for the Xdrive Media Player are standard to most media players you will find on your computer:
Repeat: This will allow a single track to repeat when played instead of going onto the next playlist entry.
Shuffle: This allows the player to randomly choose the order it will play the entries in the playlist.
Pause/Play: This controls the starting and stopping of the selected track.
Previous Song/Next Song: These buttons allow you to scroll through the playlist to find a track that you wish to play.
Mute/Unmute: This allows you to disable or turn back on the audio for the currently playing track.
Volume: Click and drag the slider on the volume bar to turn the volume up or down.
Note: The list of files you selected to play in the media player displays in the right-hand window of the Media Player and also creates a playlist file in a new folder of your Xdrive account called My Playlists.
